Stephanie currently practices full-scope family medicine at Denver Health and is a policy fellow at the Eugene S. Farley, Jr. Health Policy Center. She attended the University of Virginia for medical school where she was part of the Generalist Scholars Program, and a student director on the Virginia Academy of Family Physicians Board. Stephanie did her residency at the University of Colorado in the Denver Health Track, seeing an underserved clinic population with >50% refugees from all over the world. During her residency, she researched the patient experience of refugees in primary care and started yoga group visits for Bhutanese women with chronic pain. She also completed electives with the Indian Health Service, Partners in Health Mexico, and at the Colorado State Capitol. She was a chief resident during her third year of the program. Her policy interests include payment reform in primary care and integrating behavioral and public health with primary care.
